WiMAX Testing

EB Propsim radio channel emulators enable testing of IEEE 802.16d and -e compliant mobile station (MS) and base station (BS) performance. They support WiMAX modulations from QPSK to 64QAM and beyond. The ability to run ITU based MIMO channel models allow design verification and performance evaluation of Wave 2 device, beamforming and MIMO capabilities. The integrated AWGN and OFDM interference sources allow dynamic testing of CQI and CINR reporting for both fixed WiMAX and mobile WiMAX.

EB Propsim radio channel emulators can be used either as part of a WiMAX radio conformance tester or independently with 3rd party devices to perform plugfest type of interoperability testing (IOT).
