The EB Propsim F8 MIMO OTA emulator is designed to provide the most advanced and fully repeatable channel emulation capabilities for Multiple-Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Over-the-Air (OTA) testing. MIMO OTA testing is the only way to truly evaluate the end-user experience of the finished mobile devices - such as cellular phones, modems and laptops - that utilize MIMO technology. The performance of an advanced wireless technology MIMO device strongly depends on the antenna characteristics and the radio propagation environment. Therefore, real performance evaluation of the MIMO device requires MIMO OTA testing with advanced channel models.
