With a traditional 19" form factor and 1 unit height, the Macro Base Station easily fits into existing telecom sites and offers minimal site requirements for operators, thus lowering the required capital expenditure (CAPEX). The Macro Base Station utilizes industry-standard interfaces, enabling easy integration with core and access networks.
Several advanced state-of-the-art multicore digital signal processors (DSP) form the heart of the Macro Base Station, enabling system module and baseband functionality for three sectors. The Macro Base Station offers flexibility through fully programmable and upgradeable baseband software. It is a future proof concept with high performance and uptime, carrier-grade quality, and remote monitoring and upgradeability.
